Heimanám (e. Homework) is a short film done in collaboration with Elmar Þórarinsson in the summer of 2014. It was created, shot and edited over five weeks by us two.
The short is shot on no budget and has the smallest crew possible, 1 person.
The short was well received and acclaimed for its imagination and sincerity. It won the award "best short film" at the first Gullmolinn short film festival and travelled to French Polynesia. There it won the prize for best first film at the Courts des iles international short film festival, and consequently went to Festival de la Foa and the Cannes Short film corner.

“New York, New York“ is a short film done in collaboration with Arnar Geir Gústafsson about two young men who find themselves on crossroads when Sveinn leaves for New York for his violin-studies at the same school which has rejected Ragnar´s application.
The short experiments with narration, consisting of only 8 frames, each exactly 1 minute long and was later mentioned by Valdís Óskarsdóttir for its unconventional way of editing.
